Perenenan - and surrounds
Perenenan is the perfect blend or old and new Bali. It is what Seminyak was 20 years ago…. but with the option to go to Canggu and Seminyak on a whim. To the west you have…. rice paddies. Then central Bali, then Java. This is changing rapidly, but for now it is quiet and peaceful. You can walk down the road easily and the locals still smile at you and will stop for a chat. Your neighbours will be a local family - whose ancestors lived on this land for generations. Don’t be fooled though… we do have some of the amazing cafes and restaurants that Bali has become synonomous with. Modern Bali. At the front of our driveway we have Honey Cafe - see some photos below. And if you walk down the hill, you will be on the beach in under 5 minutes. We are blessed to be living in such a wonderful location - truly the best of old and new.
